Assessment of Suppliers

Suppliers may play an important role in determining your scope. If you have subcontractors who have access to classified information under TISAX®, you are required to include these relevant companies in the scope.

This means that you must integrate these subcontractors into the security architecture of the TISAX® controls and assess the companies. This will be assessed in the certification assessment.

As independent experts, we are happy to perform TISAX®-compliant assessments of your relevant subcontractors.

Relevant subcontractors usually come from the following industries: IT service providers, manufacturers, producers, extended workbenches, R&D/developers, engineering offices, servicing/maintenance, specialized equipment, software and application development, etc.

We check your suppliers for you using a specially developed self-assessment process

  •     Self-assessment by the subcontractor using a checklist
  •     Evaluation of the checklist with assessment based on the TISAX® maturity model
  •     Derivation of proposed corrective actions to be taken by the subcontractor
  •     Where applicable, coordination with/explanatory services for your subcontractor
  •     If necessary, assessment of the supplier on site
  •     Report on supplier assessment as proof
