e Internal Assessment

One important component of any management system, like with TISAX®, is the internal assessment. An internal assessment is performed to check the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with guidelines of the information security system implemented and, where applicable, to identify potential for improvement. You can have internal assessments performed by your own organization or by outside experts. TISAX® additionally requires a review by an independent body from outside the internal perspective.

The advantage of an internal assessment performed by an outside expert is the independence of the assessor and the inherently more objective evaluation of the management system. In many cases, the external expert is able to provide new input for improving and increasing the safety level.  Assessments performed by outside experts are particularly appreciated by the audit provider, as they increase professionalism and objectivity.

Our internal assessment can be conducted remotely or on site in the following phases:

  • Definition of the scope of the assessment and the parties involved (internal/external)
  • Preparation of the assessment plan
  • Performance of the assessment and TISAX® conformity review of all relevant controls
  • Evaluation of the findings in the categories of potential for improvement, minor deviation, and major deviation
  • Preparation of the assessment report with all evaluations and proposed corrective actions
  • Upon request, we will be happy to assist you with the management review/management assessment
